Rottnest Island | Western Australia

Ship ahoy! no holiday is complete to Western Australia until you take a short ferry trip to spend time discovering this incredibly peaceful, unspoilt nature reserve off the coast of Fremantle.

The island and surrounding waters is protected by conservation law and reaches out to protect all plant and wildlife. The island is also home to the adorable Quokka a small macropod, coming from the same family as kangaroos and wallabies; marsupials they feed at night on plants and have little fear of humans.

If you can cycling is the best way to see the island at your leisure; otherwise there are a host of activities and tours one can enjoy away from the mainland.
