The Spirit of Christmas

The Spirit of Christmas has certainly graced the streets of St. James’s and Jermyn Street, a truly wonderful spectacular lighting display. The switch-on of the Regent Street lights by David Woodman

Earlier this week I finished work at 6pm, rather than going straight home I spent an hour walking around St. James’s trying out my new Nikon Coolpix L810, selecting Cyanotype for the colour option. I found this to be more interesting than the standard colour. Above is my favourite with a little tweaking with Lightroom 5. Here I’m leaving Piccadilly Circus walking down the centre of Regent Street towards Oxford Circus. The shot below is at Oxford Circus wedge between two double deckers this is the view looking west down Oxford Street by this time dodging festive shoppers, and the cold night air, I was ready to escape home.
