Hard to imagine, but seven hours on a fine day isn’t as bad as one may think. Starting shortly after breakfast in Seaford we made our way following the signs from the seafront. The first climb was tough on a full english but once you got yourself moving into a steady rhythm you surprise yourself at how much ground you cover in such a short amount of time.
We stopped for refreshments at Cuckmere Inn, Birling Gap and continued to cross the Seven Sisters passing Beachy Head and finally down to Eastbourne. We couldn’t have been more free and invigorated away from the hustle n bustle doing this walk and would do again.
After staying the night in Eastbourne we took the local bus back to Seaford, walking one way was enough for one weekend 🙂
We highly recommend this walk on a fine day, start early and embrace the scenery it’s truly spectacular.
